Rugby returns to Bromsgrove Road this weekend as the Kingfishers kick start their league campaign with a home game against recently relegated Bromyard. After a strong pre-season where the squad were challenged they have played with pride and shown that last season was just a blip. This year has seen much improved numbers at training with a lot of new faces joining the old plus players coming up from the junior ranks to pay their first game of senior rugby.
The team sees captain James Mills joined by Matt Allen as vice plus several returning players with Dan Oscroft and Peter Hunt both returning after an injury ravaged year. We also see Clarke Parker make his first 1st team start as well as new lads Jack Mertens and Adam Currien. In the backs Ash Mooney moves to 10, after the retirement of Louis Saddington, and he is joined by familiar faces both in the back line and on the bench.
Join us for a 3pm kick off and support the lads!
