Redgate Rangers 6 - 1 Blofield Utd Res

Redgate made it 2 wins on the bounce this time with a convincing win over Blofield.
Redgate started really bright and pushed for an early goal, T.Mortimer's cross found R.Bateson at the back post who finished superbly with his head. Redgate were awarded a penalty shortly after after great play by Upston and Quantrill. Upston stood up and dispatched.
The Blofield goalkeeper really kept the score down in the 1st half with some great saves. But Upston added a 3rd just before half time beating the gk 1 on 1.
After the break the visitors pushed to get themselves back in the game and did with a great finish from the edge of the area beating Rix in goal.
Ash St John put the game to bed on 60 minutes with a 60 yard volley.
Lots of changes were made at this point with the heat, and towards the end of the game Upston came back on and completed his Hatrick at the back post after good link up play from Wood and Quantrill.
And with 10 minutes remaining the move of the game involving Arnold, Wood & Quantrill was finished off by Bateson with a lovely finish.

Solid start to the season by the new look side lots of youth and lots of smiles which is great.
Also nice to see the touch line full off supporters enjoying the team play. Thanks for the support.
