Litherland REMYCA FC are pleased to announce the appointment of Paul McNally as new first team manager at the club.
Paul was an integral part of Phil Stafford's management team last season and has previous non league management experience at both North West Counties and Evo Stik level.
Chairman Don Rimmer commented, "We received a high level of interest in the role with many experienced high calibre candidates.
"However, we have favoured an internal appointment as Paul provides us with all the qualities, drive and ambition to take the team and the club forward.
"He is well respected by the players and is familiar with how the club works. We are hopeful of building on last season and achieving promotion".
Paul will now begin to put his management team in place and make preparations for next season.
This includes hiring a first team matchday physio, for which applications are still open.
Speaking on his appointment, McNally said, "I am excited by the challenge of managing the REMY.
"When the job became available initially I was gutted as Staffo did a great job with the team.
"Naturally, the progression was for myself to apply for the position as manager, having worked with this fantastic set of lads throughout last season.
"Now is the time for us to push on as a team."
Paul's first game in charge will be away to Lower Breck on July 11th.
