Renfrew CC has successfully delivered a primary and secondary schools program, despite initial setbacks due to funding issues. Fortunately, we secured some funding from Beattie Construction through Engage Renfrewshire, along with additional support from club funds and the dedicated efforts of club coaches Sajid Majeed and Myshukur Rahaman.

We conducted taster sessions during the health weeks at the following Renfrew primary schools: St James, Kirklandneuk, Arkleston, and Newmains. Additionally, we provided taster sessions for all S1 to S3 pupils at Trinity High secondary school.

These taster sessions resulted in lunch and after-school clubs running for seven weeks at the primary schools mentioned above. We hope many of the children who participated in these school clubs will now join us for Junior Training at Renfrew Cricket Club every Tuesday from 6:15 to 7:30 PM, weather permitting, to continue their enjoyment and development.

The club is offering free places and the use of playing kit and equipment for children who cannot afford to participate.
