***If anyone has sent any CV's over we will be going through them shortly in addition to the new ones we hope to receive.
Please note we may ask coaches to attend to put on a session late August.
There is opportunity for up to 18-20 hours per week, paid, for the right candidate.
Closing date is Friday August 11th***
As a set up we require a variety of coaches, depending on experience, commitment and qualifications some roles are voluntary and some roles are paid.
As well as a stereotypical football coach, in particular we require:
Goalkeeper Coaches
Early Years Coaches (Suit anyone teaching PE in schools)
Skills Coaches (Players who can teach an array of specific skills moves)
Futsal Coaches (Much of our coaching is futsal so an appreciation of how the ball and floor impacts on a session is an advantage.)
Our club starts from pre school sessions that focus on fun and movement with basic football added on, as we go through the age groups we are a club that works on all aspects of the players physical, mental, social and technical development. Our oldest group will be Under 14's in September but we are looking to fill all ages for the 2018/19 season.
We have players of a beginner level and we've had and currently have some of the top talents in the North West at the club for coaches to work with. By coaching at our club we have the environment that not only develops players but develops coaches.
Our lead coaches are very experienced they've worked with every type of player, every type of personality and this has helped them with roles at 2 of the biggest academies in the World. We feel any coaches joining us and getting involved can only learn themselves from our coaches, methods and players.
From September we will have sessions 5 nights a week, we play across a variety of leagues, you may be asked to take teams for games, take a session, assist a session or referee in house games.
We have a very simple philosophy that BRT (ball rolling time) has to be high, it has to be enjoyable and we want to hear enjoyment not coaches voices the players should be sweaty and smiling as they leave a session. We don't want verbal nonsense and complication, when it comes to coaching the players we want direction and information to be about quality not quantity. The other aspect we must have is personality, if you aren't comfortable talking to children and can't adapt to the needs moving across the club then this may not be for you.
Qualifications are not a requirement, some of the best coaches we've worked with have come unqualified and learnt from the club whilst gaining qualifications so its about the person and the passion not the paper.
This is a great club to be part of, great kids, great parents and if you've got development ambitions of your own this is the place to be.
If you're interested drop us an email to rioacademy@outlook.com, be honest, tell us what you can offer, what experience you have and what you can commit to. I can tell within one session if you've told the truth in your email so honesty is the best policy!
