Some reminders!
Some players will be offered places playing out in the local leagues and some will be offered places in an in house league played at Goals, this all depends on the confidence and ability of the players as the local leagues can be a ruthless place for a beginner footballer playing catch up.
Any decisions will be made on years of experience and seeing what is best for players, we can't accommodate players who fancy a lie in instead of football and we can't accommodate players who don't commit to training sessions. You will be expected to commit to one game and one training session per week, anyone who can't do this then team football is not for your child at this time.
Some clubs rustle together 6 or 7 kids, start a team and throw them in to the local league's when they've barely kicked a ball, they can face double figures defeats for 10-12 weeks whilst the leagues settle down and we feel we can offer a better alternative of an in-house league. We can play players against each other based on ability not age, allow them to enjoy their football and play in less challenging conditions than a mud bath whilst they begin their football journey. Some feel its not 'Real' football but so be it, your child having 5 touches in 40 minutes in a mud bath isn't really football in our opinion.
Further details on this will be available.
