With numerous lads away, just like the previous week, Rolls were scratching round for a side.
It didn’t help matters when two lads cried off on the day of the game.
The game started with Langho dominating the play but, Rolls were creating chances on the break with the lively Amos up front. It wasn’t long before Langho took the lead when a mix-up at the back allowed the Langho player to lob the stranded Rolls keeper. The second followed not long after, yet another defensive mix-up, allowing Langho to take a 2-0 lead. Rolls were 2 down but creating chances but couldn’t finish the chances presented to them, one v ones, header cleared off the line.
Second half started, and within minutes, the rolls were 3-0 down, another costly error, this time midfield holding onto the ball for far too long and eventually getting intercepted, with the Langho striker smashing the ball home.
Rolls took the game to Langho and dominated the last half hour of the game, converting the best move of the game, Jamie Milner smashing home a close range effort cut back from a superb Gorman pass.
The game ended 3-1 and Rolls will have to dust themselves off. If Rolls are to have a good season, lads are going to have to commit properly and cut out the stupid mistakes which are being punished.
