Scarborough Ladies Open Age team returned to training this last Sunday with an open session at Yorkshire Coast College. The session saw several new players join up with players from last seasons squad. The players were given a light session to welcome them back from the summer break. Players did a steady warm up, a bit of ball work and then in to a game.

The harder test started tonight (Thursday) with the Scarborough Ladies training on the beach. The players ran on the sand up and down the South Bay and then did some sprinting (using the term loosely up the incredibly steep King Street steps. The session concluded with a game in the beach.

Plenty to look forward to this pre-season for the Scarborough Ladies with the girls taking part in a beach tournament this Sunday, followed by a spinning session at the gym next week and then on to the first pre-season match against North Ferriby on the 7th August.
