The Scarborough Football Scholarship remains committed to increasing the boundaries when it comes to opportunities for people in Scarborough and the surrounding area. Through our first ever pre season we have shown this by been the only college in the area to offer students an opportunity like this.

Our Pre Season starts with the squad been put through their paces with a high intensity training session. This is the first time the squad will be together with everyone present. Fitness work and ball work will be the main focal point of this session. This session will be on Wednesday 5th August at 11:15am-1:15pm and will take place at the University of Hull, Scarborough Campus.

The following week sees the squad have a training session on the beach. This is something a little different and a bit of a team bonding session. We will do some fitness work, a match on the beach and for those who are brave enough a dip in the sea. We will be meeting Outside the Futurist at 11:15 on Wednesday 12th August.

The next week sees our first fixture and it is a marquee match for the squad so early on as Chesterfield Scholarship side come through to give the squad an early taste of the high standard of teams we play against. This match will be a 12:30 pm Kick off on Wednesday 19th August @Malton Sports Centre.

The Following Thursday 27th August sees our induction day take place between 12pm-3pm. This will be at the University of Hull, Scarborough Campus.We also have an official Nike representative coming in during this time to size all of the Scholars up for their kit. This is another fantastic opportunity on offer for our scholars.

Our Pre Season finishes with a team trip to Pocklington Town U19's on Wednesday 2nd September, Kick off t.b.c This is the first team trip away. The squad will get to play on the team's fantastic pitch where last years scholars were just edged out.

The Start date of the course will be Monday 7th September. The course is very full this year and we only have three places left so if you are still wanting to apply be quick as only three places remain.
