Sadly, for various reasons, SGOR had to cancel the planned 10th Anniversary Festival, which was scheduled to be held in Aberdeen a couple of years ago. Following a message from a rugby friend in Argentina requesting a game for his team in Scotland, I found there was definitely an interest amongst the Golden Oldies Fraternity in Scotland, for a Festival to go ahead.
I am glad to say that Aberdeen Wanderers RFC have agreed to Host our Festival....but with only two Pitches available, Places shall be limited.
Although no date etc has been finalized, till the current coronavirus problems are settled both in Argentina and Scotland, Clubs and Teams who will wish to be involved should express their interest and book their places......" first come - first served " As more information about our Festival becomes available, details shall be listed on our Website and Facebook Page.
