Sea Mills kicked off pre-season on Sunday with their first game against Southmead Athletic in the Evelyn Rowley Cup hosted by our local team Avonmouth.
A full-time result of 6-0 gives justice to a majestic performance from the millers. Looking comfortable throughout, the back 3 and goalkeeper were never really troubled by the counterpart which play in Gloucestershire County.
The work rate and control of the midfield three Blaine Skuse, Luke Johnson and Jack Trott (BLT) were a key factor in this game. Their efforts matched with direct wingbacks and some clinical finishing in front of goal.
The injection of some new youth players proved to have paid off with all 3 making a big impression on their debuts.
Goals from: Tom Ahern, Stu Nelson (p), Jack Trott, Levi Hope x 2 and Sam Degg
The Millers will want to continue where they left of when they play Bristol North Trust who play their trade in the Suburban League Division 1. Kick off 1pm on Saturday.
