Starting his career with Huddersfield Town at the age of eight, James Pollard later moved to Bradford City at the age of 16.After his release from Bradford City he joined Brighouse, managed by Ducks manager Paul Quinn, to allow him to study for a degree.
He joined Farsley Celtic at the start of the 2017/18 season, but rejoined with Quinn at Shaw Lane and made his debut at the start of December 2017 for The Ducks.
