The Engines travelled to Wath to face Wath 2 in a hotly anticipated match up between the two top teams in the league. Wath started brightly with early possession keeping the Engines pinned in their own 22. Some strong defence repelled the Wath attacking threats until the deadlock was finally broken with a try under the posts. A visit into the Wath 22 was rewarded with a score for Greathead, but that was as good as it got for SERFC. Wath scored twice more to put the game to bed in the second half. Congratulations to Wath and best of luck to them for the rest of their season.
