Welcome to SULRFC's website!

SULRFC is a club for anyone who's up for some fun. Ladies' rugby is a sport for everyone, whatever your shape, size or athletic ability. There's definitely something for everyone - different positions play to different strengths for people! It is a great way to get fit (and keep fit!), meet new people and (most importantly) to have a laugh!

We have two teams in BUCS, the 1XV play in Northern 1A and 2XV play in Northern 4B.

You don't need to have any previous experience to join the club. Most of our team had never played any rugby before uni! Just bring along plenty of enthusiasm, and you'll fit right in.

We have field session training on Mondays and Sundays, SAQ on Fridays and matches on Wednesdays. 1XV also have fitness sessions on Fridays, 2XV fitness on Saturdays and we also put on campus league netball on Thursdays and touch rugby on Sunday afternoon, so there's always something to get involved in!

If you don't fancy playing competitively, don't worry about it. Feel free to come along to training - we have a development team who play regular friendly matches throughout the year.

We're a club who like to work hard, but play harder. We have a brilliant social scene - quite possibly one of the best in the university! We have socials every Wednesday night that are famous for unique fancy dress themes and lots of body paint!
