Shenley will be looking for their first away league win when they travel to Twyford this weekend.
The Phantoms haven't won an away league game since May 2018, when they beat Heelands Rangers 3-0 with goals from Kian Robinson and Finley Bodimeade and an own goal.
Shenley's 4-0 away win against Great Linford was voided earlier in the season.
They will face a Twyford United side who have lost all 9 of their league matches this season, scoring just 3 goals.
Covid-19 Guidance
Here is a summary of the FA's updated Covid-19 guidelines for step one of the government's roadmap out of lockdown:
Travel
There are no travel restrictions as such, but you should avoid travelling at the busiest times and routes, as well as minimising any unnecessary journeys.
Car sharing with people outside your household or support bubble is permitted as long as you follow the Government's guidance on safer travel, e.g. wear face coverings, open windows, etc…
Spectators
Spectators are permitted provided they socially distance and adhere to the rule of six - they can gather in groups of up to six people or two households. They should minimise shouting or raising their voices.
There are team dugouts on the right, and Twyford United have asked spectators to stay behind the respect line on the same side due to the cricket wicket on the opposite side.
Indoor facilities
Changing rooms can be used but players should minimise their time spent inside where possible. Everyone must socially distance themselves from those outside their household while indoors. Team talks should not take place in changing rooms under any circumstances.
Toilets will be open up to 30 minutes before and after matches.
NHS Track & Trace
Twyford United FC have said: "To keep in line with the UK Government Track & Trace guidelines, we have displayed the official NHS Covid-19 QR. Please can all players and spectators check-in upon arrival, you can get the app from Apple's App Store and Android's Google Play Store."
Throughout the last 12 months, the club's concern for the safety, health and welfare of all players, coaches and parents has and will remain paramount.
You can find more information on the guidance here.
Team News
Defenders Rohan Sawjani and Zakir Kassam, midfielder Tyler Johnston (calf injury) and attackers Freddie Rogers, Tom Beevor (leg injury), Mohammed Edris and Myron Auko are all ruled out of this weekend's clash.
Defenders Ollie Tanner (knee) and Adam Gillespie (ankle) have recovered from their respective injuries to be available to play.
The Phantoms have 13 players in their matchday squad. Manager Ian Orr has handed the captain's armband to centre-back Mitchell Brook for the first team. The line-up can be viewed on this page.
Twyford United have 16 players signed on this season. They have retained 11 players from last season but lost their top goalscorer, William Smith, who scored 15 goals in 14 games. Harrison Drakard, Peter Kariuki and Kai Dalmedo have all scored once for United this season.
The Opposition
Formed in 1992, Twyford United FC is a long-established and well-respected football club that provides football for Twyford, a close-knit village and civil parish in Buckinghamshire.
Their first team and reserves play in the North Bucks & District Football League. Their first team currently sit in 5th place out of 12 teams in the Intermediate Division (two promotions below the National League). They got all the way to the semi-final of the cup last season before it was voided due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
In July 2019, Twyford's ground was voted in the top three in the whole of Berks and Bucks. The club said this was "a massive achievement down to our fantastic and dedicated volunteer ground staff".
Twyford United U16s, the club's first junior team, was formed in the summer of 2019 as and competed in MK Borders U16 Division 3 last season. Managed by Kevin Wall, they won 7 of their first 10 games to go top of the league at the end of the year. However, they then lost 4 out of 5 games in 2020 before the season was curtailed in March due to the national coronavirus lockdown.
This season, they sit rock bottom of the division with 9 losses from 9 games, conceding an average of 6 goals per game.
Fighting Talk
Defender Ollie Tanner: "Going in to the game on Sunday, myself and the boys should have the correct mindset to win the game. If we play how we did against Newport then there is no reason why we can’t win! We need to make sure we are fully focused for the full 90 and, as long as everyone gives 110%, we can easily smash them!"
Head to Head
The first encounter between these two teams occurred in November, when the Phantoms ran out 4-0 winners with goals from Ben Lynch, Morgan Pugh, Freddie Rogers (penalty) and Joel Smith.
Last Time Out
Twyford lost 3-1 against Heelands Rangers away on Wednesday evening.
On the same day, a depleted Shenley side ground out a 2-1 win against Stewkley U17 at home. Tom Beevor scored both goals for the Phantoms, who had six players missing.
Officials
Steve Ring will officiate Sunday's fixture. He is an FA qualified Level 7 referee (amateur referee). He has handed out 1 yellow card in 8 matches this season.
It'll be his first time officiating both teams this season.
Weather Forecast
Sunny intervals and lights winds are forecasted throughout the match. Temperatures are expected to be around 12°C. There is a very low (2%) chance of rain and the visibility will be good. [Source: BBC Weather]
