Shimla, once a summer capital of British India is a city located in the hills. Lack of proper dimensional cricket grounds in the hilly area forced the founding team lead by Naresh Kumar to explore for establishment of cricket club. Shimla Hills Cricket Club was established in 2021-22 season with a vision of playing a quality cricket in a professional manner. First match was played by the First Team of club on 27th March 2022. After the end of search of good grounds, team continuously participated in the various tournaments in the Chandigarh, a beautiful city in the Northern part of country.

With the time, passionate, joy-full, professional and proper technical players joined the club, and it was memorable moment for Club when played finals in the Bharat Keshav Tournament held at Tau Devi Lal Stadium. After the First team, Second team launched and debut their match in the monsoon of 2024.
