This is our U17 Saturday team's first season in the Severn Valley League, and as we go into the Christmas break, we’re pleased to find ourselves in 5th position. It’s been an exciting journey, with the team getting used to a bit more traveling around Gloucestershire to new venues and meeting new opposition. We’ve experienced some big wins and some generally narrow defeats, but overall, we’ve scored a lot of goals and shown great progress as a team with several new players settling in well.

As we look forward to the remainder of the season, there’s a sense of optimism and enthusiasm within the team. We’re eager to build on our successes and continue improving. The challenges ahead are sure to be tough, especially with 3 games (league & cup) against high-flying Minchinhampton coming up soon, but with the spirit and determination we’ve shown so far, we’re confident in our ability to finish the season in the top half of the league.
