Our Under 7's group, after a late start to the season, has continued to make very positive progress. We have a regular 12 to 15 attending each week, and after starting to play fixtures we're now beginning to see the guys really playing as a team, supporting each other, and beginning to understand the requirements of basic skills and awareness. At the moment, it's not about results (however, they have been positive which helps), it's about enjoyment and progress - and we're seeing both.

A big thank you to all the parents and guardians for tremendous support so far this season. We're also now starting up a coaching group for next season, with three or four volunteers stepping forward.

Lastly, a big thank you to Sam for stepping up and helping with coaching and refereeing as part of his DoE awards. Sam will make an excellent future coach, and has a natural attitude with the children, which I'm sure is a welcome change from my 1970's PE Teacher approach!!
