Thanks to all those who turned up to help yesterday, particularly to the girls and parents (especially to the parents who provided the homemade cakes and refreshments - lovely)

But the hardwork has only just begun, the cricket & playing is the easy bit!

We all need to work like busy beavers and help to raise funds for one, as many things need upgrading, and some things have expired which need replacing.

Any ideas or help is much appreciated.

We also need umpires for 2011, so if you know anyone who may be interested, have a word and pass their details along to someone - even if they aren't qualified, we can get them on a course to become qualified.

Lots to do, so if you can help, have some ideas, know someone who knows someone who might be interested in helping out or know a multi millionaire who has so much money they don't know what to do but would really like to spend it on a sole amateur cricket club newly promoted to the Premier League, then please pass them this way as we have lots of plans & ideas for them to invest/donate to.

Keep an eye out over the winter for a few events - social & training
