What with Women’s Hockey World Cup and Commonwealth Games Hockey, European Championship football (it came home!) and Sail GP in Plymouth, there has been so much sport on the go that it’s been a struggle to know what to watch!

Now, it is our turn…

Below are all the dates and information you need for the restart of the season, for both Seniors and Juniors.

SENIOR HOCKEY

Men’s Training:
Tuesday 23th August 2022. 7.30pm to 9.30pm at Ottery Leisure Centre. ALL teams.

Ladies’ Training:
Wednesday 24th August 2022, Ottery Leisure Centre.
• 7.30pm to 9.00pm - 3s & 4s
• 8.00pm to 9.30pm - 1s & 2s

As we are continuing to take registers before training, please wait outside the pitch so someone can mark your name off the list.

Friendly Matches and League Hockey.
There will be a suite of friendly matches during September to get everyone ready for the League which starts on 01 October 2022. Please make sure you keep an eye on Pitchero and the Club website http://sidmouthandotteryhc.co.uk for more details.

JUNIOR HOCKEY
Junior Academy will restart on Sunday 11th September 2022 at Sidmouth Leisure Centre.
• Boys: 10.00am to 11.00am
• Girls: 11:00am to 12.00pm
As we are still completing registers before each session, please try and arrive before the start time.

Roisin will provide more information about the Junior Academy next season in due course in a separate message.

RUSTY HOCKEY
Rusty Hockey will restart on Sunday 11th September 2022 at Sidmouth Leisure Centre.
10.00am to 11.00am.

We will be sending a separate communication about membership renewals shortly, but please make sure your contact details are up to date or if you already know you will not be continuing with hockey from September, please contact sohcmembership@hotmail.com as soon as you can, so we can make the necessary changes. It is far easier to communicate directly with the Membership Secretary than relying on word of mouth and others ‘passing on’ information or having to ‘guess’ what folk intend to do.
