Biography

Born in the North East, the well-travelled striker signed for York City in January 2007 and played in their 2009 FA Trophy Final defeat at Wembley. The following season saw Brodie play in York's defeat in the 2010 Conference Premier play-off Final at Wembley and finish as top scorer, with 34 goals.
He joined Crawley Town in August 2010 for an undisclosed fee, and with them he won the Conference Premier title in 2010–11. He joined Fleetwood Town on a season-long loan for 2011–12, winning a second Conference Premier title in as many seasons.
Brodes had spells with Grimsby, Stockport & Southport before joining Skem Utd at the start of the 2017 season, he racked up a number of clubs before returning in 2019. Leaving Skem to take up a coaching role at Ashton Athletic in October 2021, the much-respected figure returned to the club as manager in September 2022
