Phil begins his eighth season in the senior team on the back of scooping the Supporters and Players Player of the Year awards last season. He progressed through the youth setup, debuting for the first team in October 2007 before he moved on to gain experience with spells at Runcorn Linnets, Atherton Collieries and Warrington Town. Since re-joining in 2014, he has captained the club in various spells and surpassed 150 club appearances with a place in the 200 club on the cards this season.
