Skipton is a rural market town with a population of around 15,000 and is situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, in the North of England.
The town is within easy reach of the major cities of Leeds and Manchester.
To reach Skipton RFC by road follow signposts for Skipton town centre.
Skipton is also easily reached by rail, situated on the main line from Leeds to Lancaster/Carlisle
From Harrogate, or Ilkley follow signposts for the town centre. From the High street follow signs for Clitheroe, Burnley and Railway Station. Turn right opposite the Railway Station continue up and over the bridge and then turn first right onto Engine Shed Lane, then first left, brings you to Skipton RFC.
From Keighley follow signposts for the town centre. Pass under the railway bridge and turn first left at the first set of traffic lights before the petrol station. Pass under the railway bridge and turn first right along Carleton New Road. Turn second left before the railway bridge onto Engine Shed Lane, then first left again, brings you to Skipton RFC.
From Clitheroe & Burnley follow signposts for the town centre. Pass under Carleton New Road Bridge and turn sharp left opposite the railway station. continue up and over the bridge and then turn first right onto Engine Shed Lane, then first left, brings you to Skipton RFC.
From Kendal & the Lakes take the fourth exit for Burnley and Clitheroe (A59) at the Little Chef Roundabout and then turn left signposted Skipton after passing over the Canal & Railway. Pass under Carleton New Road Bridge and turn sharp left opposite the railway station. continue up and over the bridge and then turn first right onto Engine Shed Lane, then first left, brings you to Skipton RFC.
