The 22 year old made 50 appearances for the Greens during the 2013/14 season.
His performances during the campaign earned him trials with both Cambridge United and Colchester United before eventually joining Chesham United at the end of that season.
During this time, Wood was also a member of the Nike Academy, getting through to the final squad of twenty-three in their Most Wanted Showcase from where he signed for Leicester City’s Development squad in 2016.
During his two years with the Foxes, Wood was a regular in their Premier League 2 side and was last year named Development Squad Player of the Year.
Connor has joined the Bradford on a three year contract for an undisclosed fee, commenting on their website
“I’m really excited. It feels great. I’m honoured to be signing for such a big club with such a great history. I am delighted to be here
With the facilities, the back room staff and the players they have, I think I can learn a lot. It will be a real educational view in terms of football for me.
My hopes for this season are to break into the first team starting line-up and solidify my place”.
Bantams’ coach Greg Abbott commented “Connor is a really good character and gives his all. He loves to get forward and has great delivery but by the same token knows how to defend and stop crosses”.
