Event Postponement
The health and safety of our event guests, supporters and the rugby league community is of the utmost importance to the Soldiers League Charity.
We have made the difficult decision to postpone our major fundraising event of the year - the Road to Wembley Black Tie Dinner on 17 July 2020. This decision is in line with the recent Government health ban on public events and the RFL’s decision regarding suspension of the 2020 season.
We will, of course, be issuing a full refund to all those who have purchased tickets for the event.
We have not set any new event dates yet, as the global pandemic is still in its early stages and changing rapidly. We want to ensure we can go ahead with our fundraising event only when it is safe to do so. We hope this will be later in the year, either as part of a flagship RFL event or as a stand-alone charity fundraiser. We will continue to follow the Government advice and orders in respect to public events.
