Victory services club information.

Security & Identification
If you have booked a room in the VSC Please have identification (ID) required for booking into the VSC. The VSC has a Security Policy ensuring that the security staff confirm the identity of each guest and sign in on arrival. There will also be a need to take your photo for their database if they don’t already have one. Please comply with these requests. The venue is not a military establishment, however is provided to facilitate serving, retired, veterans and families. Please treat the venue as such when you are asked to provide ID during your time there.

Parking
Members of the VSC will receive a 50% discount on the car parking facilities located underneath Hyde Park from Q-Park. To avoid the congestion charge you must enter via the Park Lane entrance. There is no charge on weekends, public holidays or between 18:00 and 07:00 on weekdays. Exit the car park on foot via the Marble Arch exit. Ask the porter to validate your ticket for the 50% discount. 24 hour parking will work out at £20 with the discount, they are subject to change without us being notify.  Information on the parking can be found on the VSC website on the following link https://www.vsc.co.uk/contact-us/car-parking. Train/Tube/Bus
The nearest main line station is Paddington. The nearest tube station is Marble Arch. The nearest bus stops are Edgware Rd stops E & H and Bayswater Rd Stop A & C.

Pre-Dinner Drinks.
A cash bar will be open for pre-dinner drinks from 1800hrs

Dinner
Dinner will be served in the dining room at 19.00 hrs prompt; you will be called forward to sit at 18.45 hrs. The dinner will be three courses with wine

Starter
Duck Roulade with Smooth Duck Parfait, Apricot Coulis,

Main Course
Rare Roast Sirloin of English Beef, Ox Cheek Yorkshire Pudding, Dauphinoise Potatoes, Honey Glazed Root Vegetables with Tawny Port Sauce (Served Medium Rare as Standard)

Dessert
Raspberry and White Chocolate Colline with Fresh Raspberries and Berry Gel

After Dinner drinks.
There will be drinks available to purchase at the hotel bar which closes at 01.00 hrs.

Comfort Breaks.
No set comfort breaks will occur during the event, guests are free to take comfort breaks as required. Guests are requested to minimise their movement within the dining room during any speeches.

Behaviour.
This event will see a mixed gathering to celebrate and support Soldiers League. Everyone is encouraged to have a fantastic night, however they should also be aware of the senior civilian and military guests that are present. Anyone who fails to behave appropriately will be invited to leave immediately. This years event is being held at a venue with other serving, ex serving members and families using the club so be aware of your surroundings and be polite and courteous to other guests utilising the club facilities.

Presentations.
A number of presentations will be made by Soldiers League during the dinner. At these times it is requested that you respect the speakers, keep the chatter down and remain seated.

Wembley travel.
Under your own arrangement. If you are staying at the Victory Services Club then it will be around 35 – 40 minutes from Marble Arch to Bond Street and onto Wembley Park.
