Even though we have not yet reached the half way stage of the 2016 season, the General Management Committee are already looking to prepare for the 2017 season.
In recent seasons we have looked to fill the position of first team Captain as early as possible, this allows the successful candidate more time to prepare the team for the following season.
With this in mind, the General Management Committee at its meeting held on Thursday 10th June 2016 took the decision to invite nominations for the first team captain with immediate effect.
Anyone interested in being considered for the position of 1st Team Captain for the 2017 season should advise the club in writing by Sunday 24th July 2016, letters of interest can be handed in to the:
Club Secretary Mr Martin Spurr
Chair Mr Reg Mills
Vice Chair Mr Mark Harris.
If a ballot is required, this will take place on Saturday 30th July 2016, at a time to be arranged.
A similar procedure will be carried out for the 2nd team captain at a later date.
