Sutton Athletic responded after the break and managed to pull one back in the second half, but Sporting Club stood firm to secure a valuable win at home.

Chairman Lee Hill, praised the squad’s first-half display and resilience after the interval, stating: “We were excellent in the first half, created chances and took them well. In the second half, we had to dig in a little more, but credit to the lads, they saw it out professionally.”
