“As we end what has been a tough year for the football club off the pitch battling hard to keep the club in business week in and week out I have to extend my huge gratitude to the stalwarts of the football club as without their past our future would not be possible.

“Taddy, Steve, Micky, John and Roy have kept the standards of the football club intact and without them we wouldn’t be where we are.

“Secondly my huge thanks to our principal sponsors MKM, Mahoney, GGC and LakeView without these companies we would not even be in business so thank you for your continued support.

“Thank you to the team at TPD and St Chads pre school for being perfect partners for us this year.”

On the pitch it has been a huge year of achievement with the success of once again maintaining our status of NWCFL Premier football for the 25th consecutive year. We know the struggles that we face against teams of much higher budgets but we know we can compete and keep pushing our current levels to the maximum. We have a team that has over 1000 appearances for the club competing each week and with that comes heart and desire and that is something that can’t be bought.

“It is an honour to manage this football club and I hope for a successful 2024/25 season and a great year for all concerned.

“Lastly I want to thank all our matchday volunteers Helen, Jay, Emma, George, Ian, James, Amy, Steph, Sue. The fans of course as your support is so much appreciated and drives us on each week and finally the players and my back room team Neil, Liam and Buncey.

“Let’s get behind the boys in the new year and keep supporting us near or far to help us push on as a club.
