Squires Gate midfielder Joe Noblet will be lining up to try and bag himself a date to the Isle Of Fernando this Saturday night on ITV from 8PM.
The popular game show see's a single man try to obtain a date with one of thirty single women. The women stand on stage underneath thirty white lights, each with a button in front of them. A single man is then brought down on stage via the 'Love Lift' and tries to persuade the women to agree to this date in a series of rounds, playing a pre-recorded video discussing his background, displaying a skill (such as dancing or playing a musical instrument), or playing another video in which the man's friends or family reveal more about his virtues and philosophy.
We caught up with Joe at training on Thursday night to find out how it went. " Going on the show was a fantastic experience and something I've always talked to my friends about going on. I don't take myself too seriously and hopefully I'll come across like that on the show. I can't say much more until after the show.... But hopefully you'll enjoy laughing and cringing at ITV1, 8 o'clock!! When it hits 3 o'clock it won't be on my mind though, I'll be trying my best to help the lads get 3 points against Barnoldswick."
Good luck to Joe from all at Squires Gate FC, we'll all be watching at 8PM after our home game against Barnoldswick.
