Ryan Wynter opened the scoring after just eight minutes, Sports goalkeeper Chris Martin miss handled a cross from Alex Curtis as he dropped the ball at the feet of Wynter who made no mistake from just a few yards out.

Sports responded on the 61st minute as former Boro player Liam Walshe headed in at the back post from a resulting corner. Stafford needed a quick response and they got it, Alex Curtis was provider as his corner kick from the right hand side was met by Dacres as he headed home from close range. The win was secured a minute from time as a Nicolantonio De Girolamo own goal ensured that Neil Kitching's side continued their excellent start to the league campaign.
