St Albans RFC 3rd XV Captain,
Scott Mineikis was presented with the inaugural Harpenden Pub 7s Vets Trophy during the Ireland- Wales game by Mick O'Shea. The Vets Tournament was held on 29th August last year. St Albans RFC 3rds played an elite RAF 7s team and not one, but TWO Fijian semi-international teams - one of which was coached by England International winger, Semesa Rokoduguni.
The trophy itself features the crest of Harpenden Rugby Club and is made entirely from recycled materials.
The plinth was fashioned by Mr Stephen Quinn and display by Andy Shoesmith, St Albans.
