Stamford start the new season at newly promoted side Harborough Town. Harborough came up via the play offs last season from the NPL Midland division.

We faced them last season in the FA Cup and we were beaten 3-1. The previous season, the Daniels won both league matches 3-1 & 2-0.

Both sides have look to strengthen their sides over the close season, so this will be a tough opening test for Stamford.
