The Daniels welcome Hitchin Town to the Zeeco stadium for the first home league game of the season.

Hitchin were reprieved from relegation last season. They lost 3-1 to Bromsgrove Sporting while Stamford won 1-0 at Harborough Town.

We played Hitchin 3 times last season as we also met in the FA Trophy. Stamford won all 3 encounters but they were all close affairs.
