Tuesday night sees the visit of Northwich to Borderville as they make the long trip down from Cheshire.
Last time out the two sides drew 0-0. With some better finishing it could have been a comfortable win for either side.
Stamford’s form of late has been strong without the team playing particularly well but this came crashing down in Saturday’s demolition by Stocksbridge. Before this they had gone four unbeaten beating Chasetown, Romulus and Loughborough and drawing to Kidsgrove.
Northwich’s latest run of form has seen them win once (2-0 vs Gresley), draw once (2-2 vs Bedworth) with three losses against Lincoln (3-1), Shaw Lane (4-0) and Rushden and Diamonds (4-1).
A win could see the Daniels move up the table, potentially up to 12th, if all results go in their favour. Northwich lie at the foot of the table, 7 points away from safety having had ten points deducted for insolvency issues earlier in the season. They therefore lie 24 points behind the Daniels who are now sat in 15th.
