Stamford travel to Nottingham on Monday night to face top of the table Basford United.

Stamford come into the game on the back of a strong victory on Saturday where they were victorious against Kidsgrove 4-1. Before this they were in a run of inconsistent form and had also beaten Sutton Coldfield (3-0), drawn against Sheffield FC (1-1) and lost twice against Droylsden (2-1) and Frickley (2-0).

Basford come into the game in incredible form having won thirteen and drawn three of their sixteen league games. In this time they have notable victories against Stocksbridge (3-1) and Frickley (3-2) and a strong draw against Cleethorpes (2-2).
Basford feature a former Stamford player in their team in the form of defender Lewis Carr who featured for the Daniels from January 2014 to January 2016.

A victory could see the Daniels move up to seventh place in the league and therefore just one victory off third place.
