Kidsgrove Athletic visit the Zeeco on Saturday as the Daniels looks to bounce back from two games without a win.
Stamford come into the game on the back of some inconsistent form where they have won one (against Sutton Coldfield 3-0), drawn one (against Sheffield FC 1-1) and been beaten by Frickley (2-0) and Droylsden (3-0). Before this run they were eight games unbeaten including notable victories against Alvechurch (5-1) and local rivals Lincoln (3-0).
Over the last few games for Kidsgrove they have been in inconsistent form having been beaten in their last two by Grantham (2-0) in the FA Trophy and Stocksbridge (3-2), before this they have beaten by Newcastle, Loughborough and Leek.
Stamford lie six places above the visitors in the league with 21 points from 15 games, compared to Kidsgrove who have 17 from 14. Stamford, if victorious, could move up to ninth with favourable results.
Last season where the two teams faced each other Kidsgrove ran out 3-0 at home and at the Zeeco the two teams finished level.
