Cambridge City, who play at St Ives, have had a mixed start to the season having beaten Aylesbury on Tuesday night having lost at home on the opening day, both results being 2-1. Cambridge and Stamford had only met once in the past where Cambridge were victorious 7-0.
Stamford were victorious in this round last year beating Sleaford 3-0 starting their record breaking FA Cup run seeing them all the way through to the 1st Round Proper away to Hartlepool last year. Cambridge City have gone one better in the FA Cup in its history getting to the 2nd Round Proper in the 2004/5 season where they lost to MK Dons.
