November got off to average start with The Andrews drawing with Radford away, Shay Brennan grabbing two goals after being two nil down. Next
up was Borrowash at home. A comfortable 3-1 win with the goals coming from Pez Johnson, Mitchell Warner and Danny Hemfrey. The lads then travelled to Ashby
to face Ashby Ivanhoe. Just after half time Mitchell Warner made the score 2 nil, following up Toby Warners goal in the first half. A mad 15 minutes saw Ashby hit
back with 3 goals and they saw out the game, winning 3-2. On Tuesday the 18th Blaby and Whetstone arrived for a local derby in the Westerby cup. Leon Doughty
scored twice in a well-deserved 2-0 win for the Andrews. On the 22nd we all boarded a bus that took us to Hereford to face Westfields in the second round of the FA Vase.
The Andrews were hoping to emulate our run to the Semi-Finals last year. At half time the score was 1-1, Shay Brennan equalising after the home side went 1 nil up.
The second half was a close affair with nothing between the teams until the referee intervened and gave the home side a penalty which was struck home with about
15 minutes to go. Joe Latham hit the bar in injury time before the ref blew the whistle for full time. A disappointing loss after last year but plenty of beer was still
drunk on the way home. On the 25th with a number of players out The Andrews suffered a home loss to Bardon Hill. Tom Dowsing scoring in the 2-1 defeat.
November was rounded off with a convincing 3-0 win against Stapenhill. Luke Coxon, Shay Brennan and Dan Hempfrey grabbing the goals.
