It was the Saints first every visit to The Common at Marlborough RFC and it will be one they will remember as they came home with the spoils in a hard fought encounter.

The Saints pack continued their recent good form with another dominant display epitomised by Rory Jago, who seemed to cover every blade of grass. Never missed a tackle and carried the ball into the cauldron of contact to keep the Saints on the front foot.

A first half try from Kyle Marriott put the Saints in front before Marlborough hit back to regain the lead just before half time. Second half tries from Ben Plummer, Matt Boothby, and Dan Tyrrell completed a 12-23 win.
