Bennies travelled to Windermere for the first time in a number of year for a Cumbria 1 fixture on what was a nice day for rugby.
Bennies kicked off and Windermere turned the ball over for the ball to be spun wide for winger Aaron Burns to fly in at the corner.
Bennies were then made to pay for forced errors and had to defend in their own half for the next 10 minutes but after a speculative pass from the Windermere 10, Steven Wood intercepted and took off up the field. He found Jordan Burns in support to go under the posts and make it 12-0.
Bennies were now applying pressure and from a penalty at the breakdown Steven Wood tapped the ball quickly and put a cross field kick in for Winger Sean High who collected and kick ahead only to be taken out and a penalty try award to make it 19-0.
Aaron Burns added to his growing try tally after coasting in again after Bennies forwards made good headway into the Windermere half.
The half finished with impressive centre Reece Lancaster running a superb line to crash over to make it 33-0 at Half Time.
The second half started as the first began with Bennies scoring early on with Reece Lancaster going over after stepping numerous defenders in his way to the line to make it 40-0.
Bennies fell foul to the referees whistle in the second half with penalties conceded regularly but Bennies showed great defence to force back Windermere.
Bennies gained possession from a penalty of their own and from a lineout drove deep into Windermere territory and The ball found Stephen Routledge who fell over the line to score to make it 47-0.
Bennies last try of the game come from Centre Reece Lancaster who completes his hat trick by stepping his way around the full back to score.
The last 5 minutes belonged to Windermere who grabbed a deserved try after a wayward pass was collected and they went the length of the pitch to score which was the last play of the game.
There was some good signs again from Bennies with both Forwards and Backs combining well. Windermere never gave up and ran hard and defending aggressively for 80mins.
Man of the match went to Declan McKenna who worked tirelessly.
Next week we entertain Upper Eden at Newlands Avenue and this will be the toughest test of the season against the only team to beat Bennies this season.
