Rob Mcgeever scored within the opening minute and Dave Cole bagged a lovely header shortly afterwards as the Dragons assumed control against a team playing with ten men and enjoying the chance to rotate players into unfamiliar positions.
The game was rather disjointed due to the Blackbridge approach but the Dragons did grab two more goals through the prolific Glenn Hozier who got his 40th of the campaign and a Jamie Hopson penalty in the second half.
It was a nice way to finish the season and the Dragons have also registered their highest ever finish in the league, improving one position on last year's effort.
