We were delighted to welcome Joe Combellack to the 1st team today, after his recent move from Padstow and some impressive performances in our 2nds and also welcome stalwart Dayll Beesley back from injury (perfect timing for our end of season push).

It was a tricky 1st half for us after scoring early through a deflected Corey Cleave cross after great work down the left and right on half time Ryan Pooley finished off a great team move for 2-0. In between that the home side enjoyed large periods of possession without really troubling the visiting keeper.

The scoreline flattered us at half time as that was probably the hardest half we have faced this season, but absolute credit to the way we are playing to come out of it leading 2-0 away from home.

We started the 2nd half well but it took us a while before 3-0 and 4-0 followed quickly as Ryan Pooley completed his hattrick. The 3rd followed a great pull back from Corey Cleave and his hattrick was completed courtesy of a deflection.

Corey Cleave cooly slotted home in the box for 5-0 after good work from Paul Menhinick and the best was saved to last when Paul Menhinick controlled the ball outside the box and bent a beauty in off the bar for an excellent 6-0 away victory over the battling home side.

Another great day at the office chalking up a fantastic 6-0 victory against a very good team, who's previous worse defeat this season was 4-0.

Onwards and upwards as we push on 2 fronts for promotion and the Roy Radford Division 1 Cup final.
