It's always great to hear when our boys sign with academies, especially after the hard work they put in both in matches and at training. Once again we can share news that another one of our players has recently signed with a professional football club as J. Shorrock recently went on the books with Port Vale FC.

Shorrock, since the start of his journey with Stockport SFA has been ever present in the team, scoring and assisting several goals in his two years with us. All the hard work paid off in October as scouts came to watch him in a friendly vs Manchester SFA, and offered him a trial. Since then he has impressed in games for Vale, notably a phenomenal performance against Liverpool's academy.
