With Great Horwood waiting in the wings, and following last week's draw at Great Linford, Stony know that only a win will be enough to secure their third NBDFL league title in a row. Anything less and Great Horwood will be crowned Premier Division champions for a third season in a row themselves. The added pressure will undoubtedly make the game even more challenging but should provide Stony with the motivation to leave everything on the pitch this Saturday.
However, Stony cannot be complacent and despite two wins over Bletchley this season, this effectively becomes a cup final and it's about the performance on the day. A defeat or draw here, and the 2-0 win at Bletchley and the 9-1 cup quarterfinal win will be a painful reminder of what might have been. Bletchley themselves still have something to prove. A terrible run of form has seen nine defeats since an excellent 4-4 draw at Great Linford in early January. Combine that run with a resurgent Marsh Gibbon and Bletchley find themselves bottom of the pile on goal difference. Goals have been hard to come by this season for Bletchley but it only takes one, and Ryan Thrussell remains their leading scorer on six goals.
Stony will look to have a full squad in place with the squad reinforced by the return of Daniel Rothwell and Jamal Kamuss who missed last week's game at Gt Linford.
