With player availability and injuries still high within the playing squad, the first XV fought valiantly for 60+ minutes but ultimately the firepower up front for Avon was the difference on the day.

Tries for centre Dan Gregory and fly half Matt Watkins both converted (Thatcher 1, Coombs 1) ensured we came away with some positives.
