After a frustrating 2-1 defeat in midweek The Sutts got a positive result away at Rusthall.
With a number of injuries to Sutton players this week 4 new signings were added to the squad with 3 of them involved in the game.
Mason Simms made his debut in a side that made 3 changes from the midweek game.
The visitors started brighter with Arlie Desanges having a chance in the 1st 10 mins. The underhit shot was collected by the rustics keeper

Early in the 2nd half Sutton Athletic were awarded a free kick in a similar position which resulted in a similar result. Conor Evans shot went over the wall and into the back of the net 1-1
Both sides had chances to take the lead until a handball in Rusthall box resulted in a penalty
Up stepped Arlie Desanges to to fire Sutts into lead.

As the game was in its closing moments Louie Clarke beat the offside trap to level making it 2-2
In injury time Michael Olatunji rolled off a rusthall defender into the box. Only to be taken down in the area. The 200 in attendance all thought it was a penalty except the one that matters. The ref waived it away.
