After a run of 2 wins and a draw in the last 3 league games there was a chance to solidify a top 10 place with a win at home to Holmesdale on Tuesday night.

The Sutts came out the blocks and put Holmesdale on the back foot. The home side were rewarded when Conor Evans made a near post run, opened his body and slotted past the visiting keeper to give Sutton Athletic a deserved lead

A number of chances were created however the result at half time was 1-0

The 2nd half mirrored the 1st with Sutton dominating chances and possession

With less then 3 minutes on the clock in the second half Conor Evans met a Neil Spencer run.
Evans again across the near post to finish 2-0 (48 mins)

With any nerves settled Sutton Athletic kept possession and saw out a confidence boosting win.
