In a game of two halves Sutton Athletic’s Talisman Arlie Desanges was the difference in a 4-1 home win.
The 1st half was a as dull as the weather as both sides played out a dour 0-0
In the 2nd half a “refocused” Sutts took the the field with Arlie scoring his 1st 3 minutes into the restart.
A packed box was sliced open by a Dan Watson pass for Arlie to turn and shoot. 1-0
5 minutes later it was 2-0 as Arlie hit a lob over the K Sports keeper who didn’t see the fizzed shot till it was going in.
With less than 60 minutes on the clock Neil Spencer’s mazy run was met by Desanges in the box, Neil picked out his skipper who fired in for
His hattrick. 3-0
The focus switched to keeping a clean sheet. That was undone on 89 minutes when a K Sports striker was slipped in from a clever ball, he whipped a shot into the bottom corner. 3-1
The Sutts and Arlie weren’t done yet. Liam Spellward pulled out all the tricks to beat 2 K Sports players before finding Arlie on the edge of the 6 yard box. Arlie cooly slotted home.
