Neil Tooth will be hoping his side can get back to winning ways tomorrow (sat) when they travel to Rainworth.
The Royals lost narrowly last week at promotion rivals Spalding but Tooth thought his side were unlucky on what was an awful pitch.
"We are not getting the breaks at the minute" said Tooth. "We deserved a draw last week at Spalding and I thought my lads dug in well and created chances on a disgraceful pitch. Their manager apologised before the game about it and to be fair to both sides they tried to play but in the end it just became a battle and unfortunately we switched off once and got punished. That's the luck we are having at the minute but we cant afford to sulk and to be fair the lads have been in twice this week and really knuckled down and the sessions have been really positive."
Rainworth are fighting to stay in the league and Tooth is well aware that tomorrows game will not be easy. "Im expecting a really close game tomorrow as they are in a dogfight to stay in the league as we are in one to get out. When we played them at our place the match was closer than the final score line suggests and they have improved since then. They will fancy their chances against us tomorrow but if we are serious about getting into the play offs then its a game we simply have to win. We have 8 games left and we need to win as many of those as possible to get into the play offs. Teams will be looking at us thinking they can catch us as our recent form has not been good but we are still a happy camp and we are all confident that we can get over the line and if we win our games then we will be in there regardless of what others do."
